General information for contacts

The SCONUL Access Steering Group determines the policy and operating principles of the scheme and the administrators work behind the scenes to ensure consistency of service and a wide understanding of the principles of the scheme, but without your input at local level, SCONUL Access could not succeed.

SCONUL Access contacts are crucial to the successful running of the scheme. You are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of SCONUL Access within your institution, communicating with the scheme administrators and other contacts, disseminating information about the scheme and training your staff in the working of the scheme. Your work makes a difference to thousands of researchers and students all over the UK and Ireland. This section of the website provides the tools to help you with this task. Please check the What's new section below for the latest developments.

What's new?

SCONUL wants to understand better the requirements and expectations of students, researchers and staff for library use away from their ‘home’ institution. Please encourage your students to take the survey now at www.sero.co.uk/sconul_access. The deadline has been extended until 16 December.
