Mapping the future of academic libraries

SCONUL will be holding a one day conference on 8 December to launch a new research report mapping the future of the academic library.

 

SCONUL has commissioned the research from the University of Sheffield as part of our the stream of work led by the Transformation Strategy Group exploring how the key functions and form of the academic library will be transformed over the next decade.

 

The research has been led by Professor Stephen Pinfield, Professor of Information Services Management at the Information School at the University of Sheffield.

 

Delegates will have an opportunity to be briefed on the outcomes of the research and to explore its implications for their own institution and for the sector more broadly.
