Sue White

Sue White is Director of Computing and Library Services at the University of Huddersfield. She spent the early part of her career in further education, which had a strong focus on the student experience and was a major influence in her approach to service development.  Now as a Director of a converged library and IT service, she has a strong understanding of the synergies to be gained from collaborative working – both within and across sectors. She has been involved in a number of collaborative ventures over the years and is currently Chair of the Northern Collaboration steering group. A project with which she is particularly involved at present is exploring shared/outsourced models for virtual enquiry services. She is a member of the SCONUL Collaboration Strategy Group.
